Duration
It is a timeous process! There are no short-cuts! It is not a “plug and play” software programme. One cannot just merely download and install it for use. It needs to be entrenched within the various processes of a Business!
A Quality Management System used at one business cannot be duplicated and used at another!
Please note that the above-mentioned durations are dependent upon each Business’ management’s commitment, participation, and availability of resources.
Costs
Ranges between ±R 90 000 – R 150 000 (could be more or less), for both, consulting (9001 Consult) and certification (Certification Body), depending on the size/complexity of the business and its processes, including the number of sites/branches/franchises.
Consultation
(9001 Consult advise and consult – we do not certify):
- Not cheap, does cost a lot of money due to the fact that it entails specialist expertise (for both consultation services and certification).
- 9001 Consult offers a 6 monthly payment plan for complete establishment/implementation projects.
Certification Bodies
(must be accredited to certify):
Reputable Certification Bodies, e.g. SABS, BSI, TüV, DQS, etc.
There are audit-fees (fees per audit, i.e. man-days/report-writing) and annual (certification) fees to be paid.
- The Certification Bodies normally allow for payments to take place over a period of 12 months and can be arranged with them, upon request.
- No payment results in the suspension of certification, i.e. return of certificate/s.
